About Me

I’m a Princeton (Class of 2005) and Stanford (Class of 2007) graduate with a master’s in Civil & Environmental Engineering. At Princeton, I was a 4-year varsity swimmer, co-captain of the team, and earned second-team All-Ivies honors. My journey into tutoring began as a graduate student at Stanford, where I discovered my passion for teaching high school math, science, and standardized test prep.

Over nearly 20 years, I’ve worked with more than 100 students, helping them excel across the performance spectrum. I started with leading agencies like Compass Education, ArborBridge, and Revolution Prep, receiving formal training that shaped my practice. Later, I built my own independent tutoring practice, working with students across the U.S. and beyond. My students have achieved significant success, including admissions to schools like Cornell, Columbia, Northwestern, and NYU.

I take a practice-based approach to test prep, using hands-on work with practice tests to baseline foundational skills, quickly identify areas for improvement, and establish a test-review-learn improvement cycle. My sessions blend concept review with strategic test-taking tips, actionable tactics, and confidence-building tools to help students maximize their scores.

Beyond tutoring, I’m a tech consultant and executive, as well as a proud parent to my two children, Daxton (5) and Zaela (3), and my dog, Syl. I live in Westchester, NY, but I work with students across the country and internationally. When I’m not tutoring, I enjoy swimming for fitness, watching Boston sports, and quoting lines from The Simpsons.
